Sanuki udon is one of the most popular types of udon in Japan. It is made from wheat flour and water, and is renowned for its firm yet elastic texture. The dough is carefully prepared to obtain a smooth, uniform texture. The noodles have a subtle wheat flavor, making them suitable for a wide variety of dishes, both hot and cold. Sanuki udon is traditionally served in a dashi broth, with toppings such as seaweed, tempura or vegetables.

Favorite udon

This is my favorite udon! It's so authentic in texture and taste... that's to be expected because this udon comes from the Kagawa prefecture in Shikoku, which is famous for udon! Highly recommended!
